Wharton School MBA faces off against ChatGPT in a new business proposal competition.

Haebom
An experiment at the Wharton School compared the ability of ChatGPT and MBA students to come up with innovative ideas. Both groups were asked to propose new products or services that college students would like, with a budget of under $50. ChatGPT generated 200 ideas in about an hour, and these ideas were liked by 47% of people. In contrast, the human-generated ideas received positive feedback from 40% of people.

TMI. The Wharton School refers to the business school of the University of Pennsylvania, part of the Ivy League. I mention this since many people seem to think it's something else.

Implications

Potential for AI-human collaboration: Do the results of this experiment offer new insights into how AI and humans can work together?
Quality and quantity of ideas: ChatGPT produced a large number of ideas quickly, but how good were they?
Cost-effectiveness: Is generating ideas with AI more cost-effective than relying on humans?
