ShoulderShot is a framework for generating over-the-shoulder dialogue videos, which are crucial for providing visual variety and strengthening viewers' emotional connection in films, short dramas, and advertisements. Existing video generation research has struggled with this type of video generation due to challenges such as maintaining character consistency, ensuring spatial continuity, and generating long, multi-turn dialogue within limited computational resources. ShoulderShot combines dual-shot generation with looping video to enable long dialogues while maintaining character consistency. Experimental results demonstrate superior performance compared to existing methods in terms of shot-reverse-shot layout, spatial continuity, and dialogue length flexibility.
