What Happened When We Let World-Class Consultants Use AI?

Following the release of Large Language Models (LLMs), we study the performance impact of AI on complex and knowledge-intensive tasks. In an experiment conducted with Boston Consulting Group, 758 consultants participated, who were randomly assigned to either use GPT-4 AI or not. As a result, consultants using AI completed 12.2% more work on average and 25.1% faster. In addition, quality was improved by more than 40% .

Cyborgs represent the physical combination of humans and machines. Here are some ways to apply Cyborgs in the field of artificial intelligence:
Body Assistive Devices and Artificial Intelligence: Bionics and artificial intelligence are used to enhance human body functions. For example, artificial intelligence can control body assistive devices and optimize the user's movements. This helps in assisting the disabled and performing complex tasks.
Brain-Machine Interface: The concept of Cyborgs plays a major role in the field of brain-machine interface (BMI). It uses artificial intelligence to interpret brain signals and control external devices. This provides autonomy and functionality to paralyzed patients or those with reduced physical function.
Monitoring biometric data: Cyborgs approach can be used to monitor and analyze internal body data using artificial intelligence. This can help track health status in real time and help diagnose diseases early.
