# An In-Depth Study of the United Kingdom’s BSE Crisis

This time, I focused on the United Kingdom, where the BSE crisis first emerged and had the most severe impact. By closely examining the UK case, I was able to understand how the early mismanagement of the disease affected both public trust and government credibility.

While researching the United Kingdom, I learned that delayed government action and initial denial played a major role in the spread of BSE. As the crisis worsened, the UK government introduced strict measures such as large-scale cattle culling, feed bans, and export restrictions. This case helped me understand the importance of early intervention and transparent communication in managing public health and food safety crises.
