From LG Twins To Padres

While currently a member of the best baseball league in the world, he might not have been the best player from the beginning. He didn't always show best performances, despite being recognized as the most powerful closer now. Occasionally, he struggled with ball controls, and gave a number of walks, critically led his team to dramatic(or traumatic) defeats. Moreover, when he was in national team, he showed bad performances and errors, such as limping right in front of the 1st base, so he faced criticism from all the Korean baseball fans.

However, he didn’t gave up. Through continuous self-improvement and effort to manage his weaknesses, he grew into the best pitcher. He could adorn the final moments of the Korean Series as a closing pitcher, and in the national team, he finally played a significant role in Asian Games, bringing gold medal to Team-Korea.

Go Woo-seok, having experienced all kinds of moments in baseball, has provided fans with numerous memories that are as diverse as the game itself."

I remember his debut match, suddenly appeared from somewhere and threw a fastball, causing cheers from LG fans. It was fantastic, and everyone was looking forward to the next generation SuperStar.

Until he was substituted, he had shown a perfect performance.

My memories with Go are mostly when I was a middle schooler growing up in Korea! I watched countless matches of him hitting the home run, and that has brought enormous joy to my family!

Go is such a nice guy. I recently saw him at the supermarket and asked if he's the new Korean player for Padres, and he smiled at me and said yes.
