CELC

Hello, everyone. This is Landon from CELC. Very Glad to meet you all.
CELC is an English Education Institute led by mainly native teachers' expertise, enthusiasm, and integrity.
The Goal of CELC's Education is to raise well-rounded students with a global mindset.
Beyond test-oriented education that focuses solely on grammar, CELC's goal is to cultivate students with conversational skills that enable them to think and learn in English anywhere in the world, not just in South Korea.
CELC aims for classes that go beyond solitary memorization, encouraging students to engage in discussions, collaborate with classmates, and achieve shared goals together.
CELC does not encourage students to participate in English-speaking competitions organized by private companies. Instead of sacrificing students’ time for profit-driven events, CELC supports their participation in reputable competitions hosted by the Ministry of Education, Education offices, the Jeju 4.3 Peace Foundation, and the Peace and Unification Speech Contest, where certificates are issued under the name of the Minister of Unification.
Even if not all students end up competing, the preparation process provides them with a valuable opportunity to express their thoughts in English, even if only for a few minutes. Those who have participated in these competitions have achieved excellent results.
In the competitions mentioned above, only school teachers have received the Mentor Teacher Award. However, the director of CELC was honored with the award despite not being a school teacher.
Moving forward, CELC aims to support not only students in their English learning but also parents and adults. We also hope to assist retired seniors in their language studies.
The director of CELC works until 10 PM from Monday to Friday, even after regular working hours. Beyond the main class hours (2:20–7:10 PM), we sincerely hope that CELC becomes a welcoming space where people can visit comfortably for consultations and meaningful gatherings.
On weekends, the director of CELC occasionally works from morning until late at night to provide learning support for middle school students and above who are enrolled at CELC. On weekends, there will definitely be days off for me to recharge as well.
I hope that weekends will also be an opportunity for meaningful gatherings among parents and adults. Our goal is for CELC to become a place where we can make a meaningful contribution to the local community together with all of you.
