## Literary Terminology Corrections

Euphemism - Replacing an unsuitable word with a milder term. “Passed away” sub “died”

Onomatopoeia - Words thats meant to mimic a sound. “Boing”

Oxymoron - Combining two adjectives that are opposites together. “deafening silence”

Epistrophe - repeating a verb at the end of a sentence. “what will be, will be”

Allusion - Reference to an event or other pieces of literature. Reference to greek mythology

Diction - Meanings or Ideas associated with certain words (wordplay).  “when the bus door closed” from Early Autumn

Syntax - Word order in sentence or types or sentences. 

Simile - Comparison between two things using the words “as/like”

Exposition - Part of plot structure. a comprehensive description and explanation of an idea or theory.
