Idependent Clause: form a scentence independently

Eg. She are dinner

Mama uses independent clauses a lot. Authority Figure.

Mama also used commands. Authority Figure.

Dependent clause: Cannot express complete thought

Eg. because she was hungry.

because - conjunction, smth has to happen in order for a dependent clause

Walter uses a lot of dependent clauses. Needs to persuade. - Lack of authority.

Travis - kid, underdeveloped tiny brain

Fragment: incomplete sentence missing independent clause or essential elements.

Eg. running through the park.

Ruth speaks in fragments - more on the side, mutters to self, unimportant.

Fragments lack subject/verb
