> Kinetic Energy - Energy that object has when in motion

> Potential Energy - Energy that is stored and not being used

> Thermal Energy - **the energy contained within a system that is responsible for its temperature**. (Kinetic)

> Friction - two forces interacting/rubbing against each other

> Gravitational Energy - Energy something possesses bc of its position relative to the ground (Potential)

> L.o.C.o.E -  in a closed system, energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed

> Mechanic Energy - Potential + Kinetic energy

> Sound Energy - Energy related to an objects vibration

> Electrical - energy made from movement of electrons from one point to another

> Chemical Energy - **the energy which is stored in the bonds of chemical compounds (molecules and atoms) (Potential)**

> Light Energy - Type of mechanical energy that can make light
