2024 Goals (and beyond)

1.
Climbing
a.
Go 4 times a week (easy), maybe get tough enough to go more often
b.
end of June - complete every climb in the Yeonnam branch
c.
go outdoor bouldering, sport-climbing up to my gym grading or maybe one less
d.
perhaps join a climbing group/team on Somoim or some other way
e.
end of the year - V10 at least (not sure how realistic it is but thats the goal)
f.
get my girlfriend up to purples (maybe) or at least comfortable with reds (if she wants)
g.
figure out how I can join the U.S. national team
h.
join at least 1 bouldering and 1 lead competition
i.
start doing Kilter board maybe Moon board
2.
Drawing
a.
draw something every day (unless its too much burnout)
b.
be able to draw characters after a month (not too much detail)
c.
follow the roadmap without skipping fundamentals
d.
get a drawing tablet?
e.
art - get into photography a bit more as well (maybe get a camera)
f.
if I can, try some watercolor painting after I get better at drawing
g.
write a manga one-shot
h.
end of year - draw a good cityscape and nature landscape and portrait
3.
Guitar
a.
start practicing more consistently, at the very least once or twice a week
b.
practice the fundamentals, scales and such
c.
get more used to the fingering and chords and just muscle memory and skin toughness
d.
record myself playing and singing a whole song
e.
make my own song - lyrics, melody
f.
put something out on youtube?
4.
Youtube
a.

make a youtube channel (or start using the one I have)

put out some gaming, drawing, climbing, or music videos

figure out how to edit properly

get to the point where I can upload consistently once a week

Calisthenics

start getting more consistent with workouts on my climbing break days

at least twice a week

end of year - be able to do to do front lever (realistic?? idk)

end of June - be able to do handstand pushups, human flag (realistic I think)

do a muscle up by the end of march
f.
stretch every day (for climbing and general fitness as well) (maybe skip monday)

90 degree hold, good one-arm pushup, high pullup (?), back lever (??), tuck planche
h.
nice body!

Places to go
a.
Namsan, Lotte World, Everland with gf (and rope climbing)
b.
Jeju, Daegu, Daejeon, maybe Ulsan, Mokpo, Jeonju
c.
Japan
d.
Explore around Seoul more, every famous place (Insadong, Dongdaemun, Yeouido)

climb and hike a bunch of mountains in Seoul
f.
go to every climbing gym in Seoul

maybe visit some really nice cafes, date spots with gf (crafts, art, just cool spots)
7.
Misc.
a.
get LASIK, maybe SMILE

start a martial art, maybe two (taekwondo, muay thai, boxing)
c.
or maybe start dancing, try out a figure skating lesson

try out parkour
e.
get a tattoo, ear piercing

get into yoga, maybe try yoga/pilates class

go to noraebang more often, pcbang sometimes

look into korean citizenship? (think about my future)

speak more loudly and clearly consistently

get fluent in Korean

practice some Korean every day (flash cards, conversation, reading, etc.)
